The Duchess was the name of a sprawling Queenslander house in Australia, from whom this blog borrows its name.
The painter, philosopher and traveller who tends to this blog currently calls Vienna home. Her companions are a trusty physicist and the steadfast paintings of the Kunsthistorisches Museum. Creamy coffee, Dutch paint and fine Austrian beer aid her visual and intellectual pursuits.
